I’m from Carbondale, IL—affectionately known as “the dale” to those of us who call it home. Honestly, the music scene here is pretty lit! We’ve got a vibrant community bursting with talent, featuring artists like Task The Mad Rapper, who’s made waves alongside the whole So IL & Twisted movement. Then there’s Oct Ja and It'syaboymayo keeping the bars fresh, and Courtlin Jabrae bringing his own unique flair to the mix. And then there’s me—Yo Boi—not just another artist in the lineup but a multi-talented songwriter, composer, and producer! I’m also proud to be the CEO of my very own independent record label and production company.
