Who are you?
I'm eclectic, experimental, and nuanced. I put a lot of meaning into my beats and lyrics and I've had a great chance to fool around with different programs and techniques in using samples and making my own melodies. I mainly sample but you can usually barely recognize where it came from when I'm done with it. I like playing with my vocals, having fun with different time signatures, and 808s that hit hard. My mixing definitely has a ways to go for vocals but for beats alone it's solid because I started as a producer.
Where are you from?
I'm from Pasadena, CA but I've around California since but the music scene is actually really tight. In the literal sense, because you usually went to high school with most of the people who are also making music, Or you know someone who knows someone so there's always possibility of collaboration. I myself met my best friends all through music and we still collaborate even though we've both moved on from Pasadena. It's heavily trap or trap influenced, and there aren't that many producers at least that I know of they're all older and don't really fuck with trap music.
