Who are you?
Dreaded question for most artists….I think we oscillate between electroclash and electro punk. It is definitely only computer music as we did not play any instrument at all during the recordings. We try to incorporate texts and words that do matter in a style not always known for its lyrical aspect.
Where are you from?
Hot $hot $pecials are based in the South of France, but come from abroad. Iris is Dutch and Tech'0 lived in Ireland most of his life. We have also travelled quite a good bit before settling in a suburban/rural area.
The music scene around here is active but live venues are lacking a bit; Bands are usually good but the appetite or curiosity for new talents is not always present (but I a not sure this is a local issue). One thing I love about this part of the world is that, from a music perspective, there are a lot of styles and genres played around here, from rap to world music, so it is very refreshing.
