Who are you?
"dievanse" is a project that I have been thinking about for a long time. I would describe my sound as "Hyper-Rock". By that I mean pushing the boundaries punk rock and alt-rock to the next step, the next evolution.
I've been making music for almost a decade now so I've picked up guitar, bass, singing, songwriting, producing and mixing. I want full creative control of everything so I don't have to compromise my vision.
My first song "wishyouweresober" (produced by reesoo) is a song about how addiction will strain a relationship with someone. The guitars are reminiscent of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters while the drums push it to something you'd hear on a Glaive song.
I'm also a very private person…
Where are you from?
I rather not disclose where I'm from due to personal reasons. The music scene where I'm from is diverse. The rap scene was popping for a long time but now punk rock is coming back in a HUGE way. The city is super vibrant and I'm happy to be here.
