Who are you?
listening to cody james is a sonical experience, every mix, every adlib, every layer has a meaning to it. I really wear my hometime on my sleeve, and i think its heard through the music. its just a bunch of good vibes, a lot introspective content, thatll make you look in the mirror a little bit, music has been the catalyst of my growth as a man, and i portray alot of that in my music. Saint louis area, including where im from is a very blue collar, hard working, grimy area, that makes you see real life in a different scope, my music encompasses that.

music scene is actually pretty good out here, considering we are 25 minutes outside of saint louis, alot of talented artist being grown out here, (khiro kano, heartbreak, mvstermind, sir eddie c, etc) we are hip hop heavy, but there is alot of rnb acts, and everything in between that are making noise. we are in a weird in between stage where we are learning how to support artist but not quite there yet, i think in the next 5 to 10 years the scene will be very ATL ish, it will be a hub for great music.
