Who are you?
I’d describe myself as an artist who thrives in contrast. I’m drawn to cinematic, melodic ideas, but I rarely let them stay clean for long. There’s something about taking a beautiful concept and pushing it into darker, heavier territory that feels honest to me. I like tension in my music, space versus impact, control versus chaos, polish versus distortion. My process is instinct-driven, but I’m constantly evolving and refining my sound so each release feels like growth, not repetition. Lately, as the response to my music has started to build, I’ve realized that evolving as an artist also means growing the community around it. I’m learning how to translate that same intensity and authenticity into how I show up online, not just in the studio. At the core, I’m chasing identity over trends. I want everything I put out, sonically and visually, to feel intentional and unmistakably mine.
Where are you from?
I’m from Michigan, and I spend a lot of my time around the Detroit area. Being close to a city with such a deep techno legacy is impossible not to feel. Detroit’s underground culture has always been about innovation, grit, and building movements without waiting for mainstream approval. That mentality definitely influences me. At the same time, the bass scene here is still emerging, which makes it exciting. It feels like there’s space to experiment, to take something cinematic or beautiful and push it somewhere darker and heavier without apology. That tension between refinement and raw energy is something I lean into heavily in my own music. Shout out to the Detroit underground, the warehouse promoters, and the producers and DJs carving out a lane for bass in a city that’s always shaped electronic music history.
