Who are you?
I’d say I’m a genre-bender with a restless creative spirit. I’m all about versatility—whether I’m spitting bars over a drill beat, singing a heartfelt ballad, or experimenting with dark afro wave, I want my music to take listeners on a journey through different emotions and colors. My roots in rap, rock, and emo give my sound a raw, emotional edge, but I’m always pushing myself to explore new territories, like the ballads in Hel & Persephone or the afro-inspired Vodoun. I’m an artist who’s not afraid to be vulnerable, to mix the heavy with the melodic, and to collaborate with people who bring something unexpected to the table—like my recent feature with Chris Miles on Ariesa. If you’re a fan of music that’s honest, experimental, and hits you in the chest, I think you’ll vibe with what I’m creating. Where are you from?
I’m from Belgium, Charleroi a city that’s absolutely buzzing with creative energy. The music scene here is incredibly diverse; you can go from an underground rap open mic in a tiny venue to a sold-out alternative rock show in a stadium all in the same night. There’s a real culture of experimentation, which has always pushed me to blend genres like rap, rock, and emo from the very start. Growing up, I saw local artists constantly pushing boundaries, and that inspired me to carve out my own sound. Big shout out to the whole crew at Secteur 42, where I held my release party for Drill N' Varieties—that spot is a true breeding ground for talent, and the crowd there is always ready to show love and support.
